Restorative yoga is a gentle approach to seated or lying down stretching or resting that helps ease the body from fight or flight into rest and relaxation.
Together we will explore a Chakra, the area of the body it energetically connects to and work from the root (our tailbone) to the crown (our heads) over 7 weeks for all 7 main Chakras.
We will work our practice around the healing energies and frequencies of the chakra using restorative yoga poses, meditation, sound healing and breathwork.
ABOUT THE CLASSES:
ꕤ Each class is 75 minutes and is primarily done from seated or lying down.
ꕤ There is no strenuous movement in these classes and ALL YOGA PROPS ARE PROVIDED.
ꕤ Classes are suited to beginners and all fitness levels as long as you can get up and down from the floor it is for you!
ꕤ Some reiki and discussion from meditations may be woven into certain classes.
ꕤ Classes are held in my healing lodge at the Woodland Escape in Arden.
